Terms of Service

The rules that keep everyone safe and the day running smoothly.

1. Booking & Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due before departure. Bookings made within 48 hours of departure require full payment.

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 7+ days in advance receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations 3–6 days out receive a 50% refund. Within 72 hours, deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled date.

3. Weather Policy

If the U.S. Coast Guard, NOAA, or our captain deems weather unsafe, we will reschedule your charter or issue a full refund at your choice. Rain alone does not cancel a charter — winds, seas and lightning risk do.

4. Safety & Conduct

All guests must follow captain instructions at all times. Life jackets are provided and required for minors and non-swimmers. The captain reserves the right to end a charter without refund if guests are unsafe, aggressive, or violating maritime law.

5. Alcohol & Substances

Guests 21+ may bring cans and bottles (no glass). Illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Charters may be terminated without refund for violations.

6. Liability

Boating carries inherent risks. Guests acknowledge these risks and release Terrific Boat Charters, its captains and crew from liability for injury or property loss, except in cases of gross negligence. Full waiver signed at check-in.

7. Photography

We may take photos during your charter for marketing use. If you prefer not to be photographed, please tell your captain at boarding and we will honor that request.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to your charter.
