- What types of charters do you offer?
- Private and shared boat tours, sunset cruises, island and Raccoon Island tours, fishing and spearfishing trips, jet ski rentals, luxury yacht charters, and boating lessons — half-day, full-day, and custom.
- Where do you depart from?
- Three Miami-area locations, confirmed at booking: Miami Beach Marina (300 Alton Rd), Venetian Marina & Yacht Club (1635 N Bayshore Dr, Downtown), and Eden Roc (4525 Collins Ave, Miami Beach).
- How much does a tour cost?
- Shared 4-hour tours start from $89 per person. Private charters are priced per boat by size and duration — contact us or check live pricing on our booking page.
- Will we see raccoons?
- They're wild, so never 100% guaranteed — but our captains know where they gather and most trips see them. Bring fresh water for them; never feed them human food.
- Can I bring food and drinks?
- Yes. Bring your own food and drinks, including canned or bottled alcohol. No glass, plastic bags, or balloons for safety. We have a grill on board — let us know 24 hours ahead and bring plates, cups, and utensils.
- What should I pack?
- Non-slip shoes (white soles), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, swimwear, towel, and a phone in a waterproof case. Dress to get wet. Motion-sickness meds if you're prone.
- Can I bring my dog?
- Yes — we're dog-friendly for well-behaved small breeds. Bring a doggy life vest and note it in your reservation.
- Can you handle special occasions?
- Absolutely — birthdays, proposals, bachelorettes, anniversaries. Email terrificcharters@gmail.com and we'll customize. Some requests may have an added charge.
- How many people fit on the boat?
- Capacity depends on the vessel — see each boat's page or call us.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes. Every charter runs with a USCG-licensed captain. Owner Captain Alex Terife holds a 50-ton Master license.
