About Alex Terife
Alex spent more than a decade running towing and salvage operations in Miami waters before founding Terrific Boat Charters. That rescue background is why safety briefings on our trips are thorough, calm, and never rushed — he's seen every situation Biscayne Bay can produce.
He holds a USCG 100-ton Master license and knows the bay intimately: which sandbar is quiet on a Saturday, where the sunset hits the Brickell skyline just right, and when to move an anchorage before the wind shifts.
Alex runs charters in English and Spanish and personally trains every captain and crew member who works on the fleet.
